Day 01  
Arrival at airport. After clearing Customs & Immigration formalities, you will be met by our Representative. Transfer to hotel in Negombo/Colombo for overnight stay.

Negombo - is the nearest beach resort to the airport. It's a gourmet's paradise with plenty of seafood. The majority of residents in Negombo
are fisher-folks.Ancient type of fisher-craft like the catamaran & outrigger canoe is used for fishing. Negombo is named little Rome as majority are Catholics & Catholic churches dots the landscape.

Day 02

0830 hrs
Breakfast at hotel & leave for Anuradhapura, (approx driving time: 04 hrs) En-route visit Dambulla cave temples (1& half hrs) & Sigiriya (02 hrs) . Check in at hotel in Anuradhapura for dinner & overnight stay.

Dambulla- Dating back to the 1st Cen. BC, this is the most impressive cave temple in Sri Lanka. It has five caves in number, under a over-hanging rock housing the biggest collection of Buddha statues in one place. All cave roofs are painted with religious images depicting Jathaka stories.

- World Heritage site, rock fortress, 600 ft high, midway to the summit, the world famous frescoe paintings are housed in a cave pocket. The Throne, a swimming pool is located at the summit. Other attractions are the Mirror Wall, water & pleasure gardens.


Day 03

0830 hrs
Breakfast at hotel, city tour of Anuradhapura(03 hrs) . Later visit Mihintale (1 & half hrs) & back to hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

- Sri Lanka's first capital which dates back to the 5th Cen.BC. the ancient city was a model of planning with precincts set aside for huntsmen, scavengers, heretics as well as for foreigners. During the period it remained one of the most stable & durable centers of political power & urban life is South Asia. The city is sacred to the Buddhist world is surrounded by monasteries, man made reservoirs & houses the oldest documented tree in the world.

Day 04 0800 hrs
Breakfast at hotel & leave for Jaffna (approx driving time: 4& half – 5hrs), check in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay.
Day 05 0830 hrs

Breakfast at hotel. Full day City tour of Jaffna. Evening back to hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Jaffna- Jaffna is worth more than a fleeting visit to fully appreciate all it has to offer. It is unfortunate that Jaffna's chequered history overshadows it's much more glorious ancient

history. Jaffna' original name was Yalpanam & the history dates back to at least 2nd Cen.BC. Jaffna has faced many invasions from India to the Portuguese in the early 1600s & then the Dutch.

Day 06

0730 hrs
Breakfast at hotel. Leave for Trincomalee(approx driving time: 05 hrs), en-route visit Kenniyai Hotel wells. City tour, Proceed to Nilaveli & check in at hotel for overnight stay.

- Trincomalee is famous for it's natural harbour, one of the best in the world. Located at the mouth of Sri "Lanka's longest river, Mahaweli. It's most famous land mark is Fort Fredrick. One of the most venerated Hindu shrine, Thirukoneshwaram kovil, is located here. The most popular beach resort, NIlaveli is 13kms away from Trincomalee. Hot wells of Kenniyai seven wells in no. contains therapeutic properties & the temperature of the water varies from one well to other.(98 F – 106.5F).These wells are held in veneration by the Hindus.
Day 07 0900 hrs
Breakfast at hotel, full day at leisure on the beach. Dinner & overnight stay
Day 08 0930 hrs
Breakfast at hotel. Leave by boat to Pigeon Island to engage in water sports like snorkeling. Back to hotel in the evening for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 09

0830 hrs
Breakfast at hotel. Leave for Polonnaruwa(approx driving time: 03 hrs), city tour (02 hrs) & overnight stay at Giritale.

- Sri Lanka's medieval capital which rose to fame in the 11th Cen AD. Polonnaruwa shows the interesting blend of the influence of the south Indian Hindu culture on the sinhala Buddhist art & architecture in the scattered shrines and monuments still venerated by devotees. Polonnaruwa suffered from invasions by Cholas & Pandyans from time to time.

Day 10 0800 hrs
Breakfast at hotel. Leave for Wasgamuwa(approx driving time: 02 hrs) . Afternoon jeep safari to Wasgamuwa Park. Back to hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Wasgamuwa National Park - Ideal for Birders as 143 species of birds are reported at the park including 08 species endemic. Some species of
Crocodiles, lizards & reptiles could be seen. 17 species of fish are found in the reservoirs within the park. Elephant herds , wild boar, sloth bear could be observed .
Day 11 0800 hrs
Breakfast at hotel. Leave for Mahiyangana(approx driving time: 2 & half hrs) , city tour & check in at hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Mahiyangana – Lord Buddha visited Mahiyangana to settle a dispute among primitives & the Dagoba was erected on the spot where Lord
Buddha preached a sermon & the hair relic of lord Buddha is enshrined in the Dagoba.
Day 12 0900 hrs
Breakfast at hotel. Leave for Dambana to visit Veddahs, visit the Museum & observe a Veddah dance show & their cultural values, , taste a meal with them & back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 13 0830 hrs
Breakfast at hotel. Leave for Kandy(approx: driving time: 2& half – 3 hrs) , on arrival in Kandy visit the botanical gardens & Temple of the Tooth relic of Lord Buddha. Check in at hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 14 0800 hrs
Breakfast at hotel. Leave for Pinnawala(driving time: 01 hr) to observe elephants feeding /bathing. City tour of Kandy & shopping. Evening witness a cultural dance show. Back to hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Kandy - The hill capital of Sri Lanka, a World Heritage city & is the most visited tourist
destination in the island. Dalalada Maligawa, which enshrines the tooth relic of Lord Buddha, the holiest shrine in the Buddhist world is located in Kandy.

Day 15

0830 hrs
Breakfast at hotel. Leave for Nuwara Eliya(approx: 03 hrs) , en-route observe Ramboda Falls & visit a tea factory. Check in at hotel. Later visit Hakgala Gardens. Back to hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

On Mondays, Thursdays & Saturdays only
- If desires a train ride could be arranged by luxury train from Kandy – Nanu Oya (ticket includes snacks/tea/ coffee(04 hrs)

Nuwara Eliya
- Known as Little England due to it's mean temperature of 13.8C (57F) & is located 1, 896m above sea level. The British converted Nuwara Eliya to a English town. English-style pubs, a golf course, a lke for trout fishing, a race track,
British style buildings etc. More than foreigners,locals visit here for holidaying especially during April/May. 20 kms away is Horton Plains, ideal for trekking upto World's End, a sudden end precipice which drops straight down about 900 m with the magnificient view of the plains below. Also the Hakgala Gardens connected with Valmiki's epic Ramayana is found close to Nuwara Eliya.

Day 16

0930 hrs
Breakfast at hotel. Leave for Horton Plains by jeep(approx driving time: 1 & half hrs) . Explore the Plains on foot, observe Baker's Falls & World's End. Late afternoon back to hotel. If desires a game of Golf. Back to hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Horton Plains
- 32 kms from Nuwara Eliya, comprises a gently undulating highland plateau dominated to the North by Mount Thotupolakanda(2,357m) and to the West by Mount Kirigalpotta (2,389m), Sri Lanka's second & third highest peaks. Tributaries of three major rivers originate from within the Reserve.The altitude of the Park ranges from about 1800m - 2389m at the top of Kirigalpotta. Annual rainfall
in the region is about 2,540 mm but for Horton Plains it may exceed 5,000mm. Two escarpments fall from Horton Plains, 884 metre World's End & 274 metre Mini World's End.The Plains are also of outstanding scenic beauty & contains most of the habitats and endemic plants & birds.Horton Plains is also recognized for it's rich biodiversity.
Day 17 0830 hrs
Breakfast at hotel. Leave for Yala(approx driving time: 5 hrs), en-route a stop at Ella Gap, observe Ravana Falls. Check in at hotel. Afternoon jeep safari to Yala National park( 3 3& half hrs) . Back to hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 18 0900 hrs
Breakfast at hotel. Leave for Galle(approx driving time: 5 hrs) , en-route visit Blow hole at Dickwella, Observe Stilt fishermen at Weligama, Dondra Head, check in at hotel in Galle for dinner & overnight stay.

Galle - Galle, a World Heritage City, owes its glory to it's harbour. History suggests that Galle is the Tarshish of the Bible. Because of it's strategic
position of the Galle harbour in relation to the sea routes, it was the island's chief port of call from as early as the 14th century. Galle is famous for its harbour, Dutch Fort, handicrafts, lace making, ebony carving & gem polishing.
Day 19 0900 hrs
Breakfast at hotel, city tour of Galle & leave for Wadduwa(approx driving time: 1& half hrs) . En-route visit a mask factory, a turtle hatchery, Moonstone mines at Meetiyagoda. Check in at Siddalepa Ayurveda Resort & Spa @ Wadduwa for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 20 0900 hrs
Breakfast at hotel. If desires Ayurveda therepy by an experienced doctor . Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay. (if desires proceed to Mount Lavinia or Negombo)
